About the Program

Nova Scotia Association of Optometrists is pleased to be introducing the Eye See... Eye Learn! program to parents and children in Nova Scotia.

How it Works

Eye See... Eye Learn! provides children in pre-primary and primary school with free eyeglasses. Children visit a participating optometrist for an eye exam, and if glasses are required, your child will receive a complimentary pair, free of charge!

Is my child eligible?

The Eye See... Eye Learn! program in Nova Scotia helps detect problems with vision that could impact a child's learning.

Eligible participants:

are living in Nova Scotia

(with a non-expired MSI card)

eye see eye learn logo frog (7).png

in grades pre-primary or primary

eye see eye learn logo frog (9).png

will be covered by MSI for an eye exam once every two years until their 10th birthday

(unless a condition exists that requires more frequent monitoring)
